Hello! I’m Parthdhwaj, a dedicated and experienced math tutor who has helped 75% of my students achieve A grades and guided others to substantial improvement. With a Bachelor’s in Finance and Political Science in progress at Rutgers Business School and hands-on experience creating tailored lesson plans, I bring both academic rigor and real-world perspective to every session. As a tutor, I take a personalized and results-driven approach to ensure each student understands the material and feels confident applying it. I begin by identifying the student's skill level, learning style, and areas for growth through diagnostic questions and a brief conversation. This helps me create customized lesson plans that combine visual aids, practice problems, and interactive review to make abstract math concepts more concrete and approachable.
A typical session starts with a quick recap of previous material to reinforce retention, followed by step-by-step instruction on new concepts using real-world examples. We then work through targeted problems together, gradually shifting responsibility to the student as their understanding grows. I end each lesson with a mini quiz to assess understanding and plan for the next session.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students by creating a positive, supportive environment. My previous students ranged from middle school to early high school, including those with special learning needs. By adjusting my pacing and offering encouragement, 75% of my students ended with an A in math, while others saw significant improvement.
