About Michael
I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and more than 20 years of tutoring experience in Westchester County. I have worked with students across a wide range of ability levels, including students who need additional learning support and students taking accelerated and advanced math courses. I tutor Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, AP Calculus, SAT Math, and ACT Math. My goal is to make mathematics easier to understand while helping students become more confident, independent, and comfortable solving problems on their own.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, learning style, and current course. I focus on explaining math clearly, breaking difficult concepts into manageable steps, and making sure students understand the reasoning behind the work instead of simply memorizing procedures. Sessions can include homework help, test preparation, review of weak areas, and preparation for upcoming material. I work with students from Algebra through AP Calculus, as well as SAT and ACT Math, and use a shared digital workspace so students can easily review notes and examples after each lesson.
