About Alexaandra
Having been an active musician for over 10 years, I discovered a passion for teaching and have been developing it ever since. After completing my BA (Hons), I relocated to the UK and have performed both as a leader and collaborator at major jazz venues including Queen Elizabeth Hall, Cadogan Hall, Ronnie Scott’s, and more.
Passionate about social change, I played a key role in developing Female Collective, an educational programme aimed at supporting female musicians, run by Tomorrow’s Warriors. As an arranger and tutor for the group, I led the frontline at various festivals such as Wilderness, Love Supreme, We Out Here, and the EFG London Jazz Festival.
I specialise in jazz and classical saxophone and flute, offering structured, personalised lessons for all levels. Whether you want to improve your improvisation, technique, or prepare for exams, I’m here to support your musical journey. I offer live lessons in the UK as well as online lessons tailored to fit European and Asian time zones.

Perfect! Music is Alexandra's absolute passion. Alexandra is a very talented musician and a competent teacher. Her approach is patient, inspiring, creative yet also methodical when required. She is intuitive and gives full attention during lessons. She provides support and assists with any obstacles that the learner may stumble across. He has quickly refreshed fundamental saxophone technique displaying notable improvements in embouchure control, finger dexterity, and breath support.
As for the flute, Nick demonstrated good tone and breath control as well as a solid technical skills.
He diligently practices assigned exercises and repertoire, incorporating feedback with a receptive attitude.
It is a joy to guide and witness the musical development of Nick, and I anticipate what he will accomplish in the coming months and years. Well done !

Highly recommendPerfect! As of yet all down to me,I've not had any lessons yet. All my doing not Alexandra. Had to cancel last week due to me being diverted to Yorkshire for work. This week I've been given a cancellation on my cruciate ligament operation. I've been waiting 8 months so I had to take this chance to get it sorted. Rearranged for 10th July. Perfect! Alexaandra has pushed me slightly beyond my comfort zone which is something I needed!! Just completed my 3rd lesson, teaching method is great for me with plenty of exercises to complete in my own time. Very friendly and happy to answer questions during the lessons.
