About Thamara
Hi! My name is Ms.T , and I’m a high school Spanish teacher with several years of experience helping students develop confidence and success in Spanish. I currently teach Spanish at the high school level, where I work with students across multiple levels and design engaging lessons that help them understand the language in a meaningful and practical way.
I’ve always been passionate about language learning and cultural exchange. In addition to teaching, I’ve been involved in international programs and student travel experiences that connect students with Spanish-speaking cultures. These experiences allow me to bring real-world perspectives into my teaching and help students see how Spanish can be used beyond the classroom.
As a tutor, I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I know that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand each student’s needs and adjust my lessons accordingly. Whether a student needs help understanding grammar, preparing for an exam, improving their speaking skills, or catching up in class, my goal is to make Spanish feel clear, manageable, and even enjoyable.
I pride myself on being patient, organized, and dedicated to helping my students succeed. Seeing students gain confidence and make progress in Spanish is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My goal as a tutor is to help students feel more confident and comfortable with Spanish. As a high school Spanish teacher, I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when grammar gets complicated or when students feel nervous about speaking. My approach is to break things down in a clear, simple way and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing.
In my lessons, I focus on helping students truly understand the language rather than just memorizing rules. I combine grammar explanations, vocabulary building, and conversation practice so students can actually use Spanish in meaningful ways. I like to make lessons interactive and engaging so learning feels less stressful and more enjoyable.
A typical lesson usually includes:

*Conversation practice to build speaking confidence
*Help with homework, studying, or preparing for upcoming quizzes and tests
