About Elizabeth
I’m a Registered Nurse with 13 years experience in Critical Care with a passion for helping others understand healthcare, not simply memorize information for the next exam.
Throughout my nursing career, I’ve learned that some of the most important concepts become much easier when someone takes the time to explain **why they matter and how they connect to real patient care.** That’s the approach I bring to tutoring.
I’m patient, encouraging, and comfortable breaking complicated topics into smaller, understandable pieces. There’s no judgment if something hasn’t clicked yet. We’ll figure out where the confusion starts and work through it together.
My goal is not to do your work for you or give you answers to memorize. I want to help you develop the knowledge, critical-thinking skills, and clinical judgment to arrive at the answer yourself.
Nursing school is challenging, but you don’t have to figure out every difficult concept alone. Whether you need help getting through a tough course, preparing for an exam, or becoming more confident in the way you think like a nurse, I’d be happy to help.

Nursing school requires more than memorizing facts. My goal is to help you understand the **“why” behind nursing concepts** so you can think through questions, recognize important clinical clues, and make safe, confident nursing decisions.
I provide individualized online tutoring for **ADN and BSN nursing students** at different stages of their programs. Sessions are tailored to what you’re currently learning and where you’re struggling, whether that means breaking down a difficult concept, reviewing course material, working through practice questions, or strengthening your clinical judgment.
Topics may include **Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Health Assessment, dosage calculations, care planning, prioritization and delegation, and NCLEX-style test-taking strategies.**
Rather than simply giving you an answer, I’ll help you work through the reasoning behind it. We can break complex topics into manageable pieces, connect classroom material to real-world patient care, and practice identifying what nursing questions are actually asking you.
A typical session may include a focused review of challenging concepts, clinical examples, practice questions, and step-by-step rationales. We’ll also identify patterns in the questions you’re missing so we can address the underlying problem instead of just memorizing more information.
Whether you're struggling with a particular class, preparing for an exam, trying to strengthen your clinical reasoning, or simply want nursing school to make more sense, our sessions will meet you where you are and build from there.
