About Becky
The best part of being a teacher, and honestly the reason I love what I do, is seeing that “penny drop” moment when something that seemed impossible suddenly makes sense.
I want my students to leave sessions not just knowing more, but believing in themselves a little bit more too.
I genuinely believe that anyone can be successful, regardless of what they’ve been told about themselves or what they’ve been made to believe they’re capable of.
Sometimes you just need someone to explain something differently, give you a bit of confidence and remind you that struggling with something doesn’t mean you can’t do it.
That’s what I want my tutoring to be about: building understanding, confidence and the belief that you absolutely can succeed.

We’ll focus on the areas you’re finding difficult and work at a pace that suits you.

If something doesn’t make sense, we’ll go back to basics. I’ll explain it as many times and in as many different ways as you need until it clicks.
Assignments made simpler.
We can break down the question, work out exactly what it’s asking and look at how to structure your answer.
Revision without the overwhelm.
We’ll break larger topics into manageable sections and find revision techniques that work for you.
Understanding over memorising.
My aim is to help you understand the subject so you feel confident applying your knowledge, not just remembering it for an exam.
Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and saying “I don’t get it” — that’s what tutoring is for.
