About Casimir
I'm a Year 10 student at a grammar school with the experience and knowledge needed fo the 11+. I enjoy hobbies including sports like basketball that I juggle with studying for my exams due to the skills and techniques I learned during 11+. I plan to teach maths and techniques like time management, coping under stress and completing as many questions as possible.

I have experience doing and passing multiple 11+ exams giving me the option to go to multiple grammar schools. I have the experience, knowledge and tips to help a student pass 11+, while also providing a mathematics course that pinpoint students weaknesses and focus on those particular topics to strengthen a student's understanding. If you would like a 1 on 1 online tutoring session of an hour up to 2-3 times per week contact me through my details. I like to do a free 10-20 minute call with the student before starting the paid lessons to discuss the plans and duration of the tutoring, while also fostering understanding and ensuring me and the student are a good fit.
As an online tutor, I connect to my students via video call from commonly used websites like zoom or whereby. If it is also comfortable with the student I also like to connect via phone call, this is to combat any technical difficulties with the video call so I can still contact and confer with my student via phone call. During the zoom call I use a multitude of methods to teach students like verbal discussion, video example and screen sharing PowerPoints of topics. I run a google classroom which I require students to join where I upload homework, past papers or resources for them to complete outside the lesson.
The structure of my actual teaching across the course is to start off with easing the student into the work and identifying weaknesses via different quizzing methods. Once these weaknesses have been established I focus on prioritising lessons on these topics and build an overall foundation of the knowledge. I do this in as many math topics as it is required till the understanding of the work is complete. Then I move onto the next stage of exam tips including time management, skills for answering questions and how to complete as many questions as possible during exams by employing techniques. This stage will also include past papers that I possibly upload on the google classroom which I mark and focus on weak points identified in these exams.
