About Douglas
I'm a Graduate of Architecture at Draper Noxon Architecture, and a researcher with the Deep Design Lab at the University of Melbourne. I've also previously worked at Sheppard Robson, a large well-regarded practice in London, and at Hames Sharley and K2LD Architects and Interiors in Melbourne.

My aim is to help university-level students develop a well-rounded range of creative thinking, technical knowledge, and drawing skills.
I hope that these skills can give any student the confidence that they can create architecture that both excites them and reflects a level of professional competence. I also give technical advice on generating diagrams, producing both design and construction drawings, and creating 3D visualisations.
Previously, I have tutored online through Superprof in London, including for students at the Bartlett School of Architecture, where I helped at-risk students successfully pass challenging semesters. I have also previously had a small engagement as Technical Tutor for the Digital Design and Fabrication subject at the University of Melbourne.
Lessons are typically 1 or 2 hours (but are flexible) and are driven by each students individual needs and aims - let me know what you would like help with.
