Hallo! I’m Tanmay, a dedicated German teacher with over 20 years of experience helping students of all ages and backgrounds master the German language with confidence.
My journey with German is rooted in a deep passion for language structure, culture, and effective communication. Over two decades in education, I have taught across various language schools—including seven years working with young learners, teens, and adults in dedicated German language institutions in Canada. Whether guiding students through high-stakes exam preparation like the DSD (Deutsches Sprachdiplom) or helping beginners take their very first steps in conversation, I bring proven expertise, clarity, and structured guidance to every session.

* Tailored Material Mix: Lessons blend structured digital materials, realia (authentic articles, videos, and media), audio cues for natural pronunciation, and clear target goals so you can track your progress.
A Typical Lesson Plan (60 Minutes)
Every lesson is tailored to your individual pace and learning preferences, but a standard session follows a balanced structure:
1. Warm-Up & Check-In (5–10 mins): An interactive warm-up or conversational check-in to activate prior knowledge and transition into German.
2. Core Concept / Practical Input (15–20 mins): Introducing a new grammar topic, functional vocabulary set, or cultural theme using authentic, bite-sized examples.
3. Interactive Practice & Application (20–25 mins): Putting the concept to work immediately through guided conversation, role-plays, short reading/listening tasks, or problem-solving scenarios.
4.Wrap-Up & Personal Action Plan (5 mins): Consolidating what you learned, addressing lingering questions, and setting clear, actionable tasks or review materials for self-study.
