About Muhammad
Hi, I’m a dedicated Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience helping students get to grips with Maths and feel genuinely confident in the subject.
I specialise in GCSE Maths and have experience supporting students across the UK exam boards, whether they’re looking to strengthen their foundations, improve their grades or push towards the higher end of the mark scheme.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Space Sciences, with a strong academic background in mathematics, astronomy and astrophysics. Studying these subjects has given me a solid analytical and problem-solving foundation, but for me, tutoring is about much more than simply knowing the subject, it’s about explaining things clearly, patiently and in a way that actually makes sense to each student.
I really enjoy seeing a student go from “I don’t get this” to “Oh, I see it now!” My lessons are relaxed, supportive and focused, so students can ask questions, make mistakes and work things through without feeling under pressure.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s current level, strengths and areas for improvement. I start by identifying any gaps in understanding, then build those foundations with clear, step-by-step explanations before moving on to exam-style questions.
For GCSE Maths, I focus not only on knowing the method, but on understanding why it works and applying it confidently to different types of questions. Lessons can include topic practice, past-paper questions, exam technique and targeted revision based on the student’s needs.
Whether a student is working towards a strong pass or aiming for grades 7–9, I adapt the pace and difficulty accordingly. My aim is to make Maths clearer, build confidence and help students become more independent when approaching unfamiliar exam questions.
