About Eli
I am an online maths tutor based in North London. I support students with all levels of school maths, including GCSE, A-Level (Maths and Further Maths) and university entrance exams, e.g. Cambridge STEP. I have a first-class MMath degree from Durham University and a Master's degree in Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge, having received academic awards throughout my studies, including the Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
I have been working for several years as a Quantitative Analyst but my real passion is for teaching and communicating maths to the next generation.
I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

With my tutees, my goal is to help them achieve mastery of all the concepts in their syllabus, and I hope to impart my excitement for maths as well. However, I understand that students' individual goals will vary, and I always adapt my approach to suit these needs: whether they require extra time and individual attention in order to keep up with the pace of in-class learning, are aiming to pass a particular exam, or are seeking more of a challenge and striving to achieve a greater depth of mathematical knowledge.
