About Lynn
Hello my future students! It's great to meet you all and I am excited to teach you Chinese. Don't be afraid of asking me questions related to Chinese as I will be with you along the way, teaching you step-by-step. Don't be afraid to make mistakes so that I can correct you patiently, hence improving on your Chinese and gaining confidence!

I am bilingual in both English and Chinese as I can speak, write, and read fluently. I have taught more than 30 students to date, while some of the students are non-Chinese. My approach: make use of their favorite things as examples to get them to learn Chinese. For example, their birthday to start off learning to write dates in Chinese. Rewards will also be given to encourage them, but I will not disclose how the rewards system is as this might create a habit for my students to study Chinese solely for the sake of the rewards.

Lynn has been teaching my kids for close to 5 years. My kids did not grow up speaking Chinese, so having to learn Chinese is pretty difficult as compared to other kids. Lynn has always been very patient with them, and they look forward to her Chinese teaching. Lynn had taught online lessons for my kids during COVID, and my kids still listen attentively.
