Nicholas is a gifted and patient teacher. Together we hosted the Seattle JS Hackers Sunday Coffee Break meetup where we would spend time on Sundays talking, collaborating and assisting people with their JavaScript skills. Before I became a host, Nicholas would give me advice, discuss my code, and talk about career paths. I've spent countless hours watching him solve problems, provide feedback and discuss possible solutions with programmers of all skill levels. Not only is he an excellent teacher, but he is a great listener and has experience in many different types of programming jobs. He has always been able to discuss the skills it takes to work in different roles in the coding world and was always up for chatting about any and all things hacker. I highly recommend Nicholas as a teacher and all around amazing person!

I have taken many courses regarding coding and none of it has helped me like Nicholas has! He is able to put complex problems and break them down to a digestible and relatable formats.
