I know Sophia as she went to school with my eldest daughter and they remain close friends years on.
So when my youngest daughter had disastrous GCSE mock results and after a difficult PTA evening in Q1 this year I knew she needed a lot of help and support. Teacher feedback was that she wasn't reaching out for help and she was very far behind. She was really struggling with Maths and the mathematical side of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Sophia managed to develop a strong circle of trust and bond with my daughter and develop a forum where'd she would reach out and admit where she was struggling.
I'm delighted to say my daughter managed to achieve GCSE results in Maths and the three sciences 4-5 grades above her mocks and all above her teacher predicted grades which we were all delighted about and seemed implausible 2-3 months before her final exams and when I first reached out to Sophia.

Sophia tutored me through the IB, despite advertising as an A level tutor, she was willing to learn a different curriculum to accommodate all my topics.

I was struggling greatly at the start of her tutoring me. She helped me with each of the topics patiently, and with genuine interest in my success. Sophia has experience with a range of levels from GCSE to IB Higher Level maths and physics, and was a maths mentor at university helping First Years with the transition to degree level. She is a committed tutor, having spent time volunteering to tutor students in more deprived areas. She's patient, and good at explaining hard concepts.

Sophia is really patient and good at explaining concepts. She's punctual and gave me positive reinforcement when I got something right, but she also made sure to correct me if I was using the wrong line of thought.
