About Georgina
I have a First class honours degree in French and Italian and A* A-Level Spanish. I have 25 years' experience teaching French up to A-Level in some of the top Independent schools in the UK and Spanish and Italian up to GCSE. I currently tutor privately online or in person. I am passionate about languages and love to help my students develop a love for the language and the culture of their chosen subject. I believe that the one-to-one approach enables students to achieve their full potential and I have helped many SEN students as well as gifted and talented students to achieve success in their examinations. I also enjoy teaching beginners and adults with a more relaxed approach who wish to learn conversational language for travel and tourism.

I use an immersive approach to encourage spontaneous use of the target language throughout the lesson. Lessons are targeted to the individual's needs with a variety of dynamic, interactive activities to encourage oral confidence and fluency, listening comprehension, grammatical accuracy, essay writing and examination techniques. Online lessons can be taught using zoom or teams and with zoom whiteboard or google docs for collaborative written work. I am happy to provide a free trial lesson as an introduction.
