About Paul
Hello! I'm Paul, a dedicated educator with a First Class Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computing and Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth and am a co-author for the online Cambridge IGCSE ICT student textbook by Kognity. With several years of experience as a Remote Python Instructor, I have a passion for guiding students through the fascinating world of programming and helping them achieve their academic and career goals. I enjoy working as a Cambridge IGCSE ICT teacher, and my students have had 100% pass rates in their Cambridge International ICT exams. I am also a member of the Association of Computer Professionals, England (UK). I have worked as part of Web, Android and Python developer teams. In 2014 I orchestrated the development of an android social media app called Yippee that receives short videos and photos and deletes them automatically after 10 seconds of being viewed by the user. I launched this in the Google Play store on the 17th Dec 2014. I also love two things: learning new aspects about technology and barbecues in hot weather :)

I use real-world examples to teach to make lessons enjoyable and easy to understand. I always offer learners assistance and counsel on all aspects of Python. Also I offer specialist tutorship for university students offering programming in Python and for individuals who want to change their career to become a Python developer. I have previous expertise teaching online with students in the UK, US, Netherlands, Australia, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
