About Me

I am a qualified and experienced teacher with 15 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Zoology. I specialize in teaching young learners from Playgroup to Grade 8, with a strong focus on building their English, Mathematics, Science, and foundational skills.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, interactive, and student-centered. I create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, participate actively, and learn at their own pace.

As a school librarian and experienced teacher, I understand how to work with children of different ages and learning levels. I focus not only on completing lessons but also on developing strong concepts, confidence, communication skills, and a love for learning.

My goal is to make every lesson engaging, meaningful, and easy to understand, while helping each student achieve steady academic progress.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach

I use a child-centered, interactive and activity-based teaching approach. I explain concepts in simple language and use stories, examples, pictures, questioning, games and practical activities to keep children engaged. I adapt my teaching according to each child’s age, level and learning needs.

Typical Lesson Plan
5 minutes: Warm-up and revision
10–15 minutes: Introduce and explain the new concept
10 minutes: Interactive activities, examples or practice
5 minutes: Questions and assessment
5 minutes: Recap and simple homework/activity

I have professional school teaching experience and currently work as an EYFS Expert Teacher at The City School KAPCO Chapter. I am patient, friendly and focused on building strong academic foundations while making learning enjoyable.

Who My Lessons Are For

My classes are mainly for Playgroup, EYFS, Kindergarten and early primary learners. I can teach English, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, General Knowledge and Social Studies, as well as early literacy, numeracy, phonics, communication and foundational learning skills.
