About Carly
I’m an experienced EYFS teacher and Early Years Lead, with a real passion for helping young children build confidence, develop strong foundations and enjoy learning. Through Bloom Early Learning, I provide personalised support for children across EYFS and Key Stage 1, including phonics, early reading, writing, maths, school readiness and SEND learning support. I have extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of additional needs and I also hold a Level 3 ELKLAN Speech and Language qualification. I understand that children don’t all learn in the same way, so sessions are adapted around each child’s individual strengths, interests, needs and learning style. My approach is practical, playful and child-led. I use engaging games, hands-on activities, visual resources and carefully planned learning tasks rather than relying on worksheets. I want children to feel comfortable, successful and proud of what they can do. I also work closely with parents, helping them understand where their child is currently working, celebrating progress and identifying clear next steps for learning. Above all, Bloom is about helping little learners grow, shine and bloom — building not only their academic skills, but their confidence and love of learning too.

Each Bloom Early Learning session is carefully planned around your child’s individual needs, interests and current level of development.
I support children across EYFS and Key Stage 1, including phonics, early reading, writing, maths, school readiness and SEND learning support. Sessions can also focus on specific areas where a child may need extra confidence or a more personalised approach. Lessons are designed to be engaging, practical and low-pressure.
I use games, visual resources, hands-on activities, movement, short focused tasks and plenty of encouragement to keep children motivated and involved. For children with additional needs, I can adapt the pace, language, resources and structure of the session to help make learning feel more manageable and successful. I also use the first sessions to get to know your child as a learner, identify their strengths and areas for development, and plan clear next steps.
Progress is then reviewed over time so that support remains purposeful rather than following a one-size-fits-all programme. My aim is for children to leave sessions feeling confident, capable and proud of what they have achieved, while giving parents a clear understanding of how they can continue supporting learning at home.

Details
I offer both online and face-to-face tuition for children across EYFS and Key Stage 1.
Parents are welcome to share school feedback, SEND targets or assessment information so that support can be tailored appropriately.
I’m also happy to work with children who may have emerging or additional needs, including those awaiting assessment.
Progress is reviewed regularly, and sessions can be adapted as your child develops. All enquiries and bookings can be made directly through Superprof.
