About Loraine R
I have been teaching for over 20 years, working in the physical classroom as well as online. I have worked with students K-12 and cherish the relationships developed along the way. I have also worked with adults, teaching and coaching them towards good learning habits. I hold a bachelor's degree in mass communications, master's degree in communications design, diploma in children's literature, am TEFL-certified and am a published author and certified coach. I enjoy my work as an educator and coach. I currently reside in Queens, New York and enjoy reading, writing, drama, gardening, and making a difference in the lives of others.

Hello there! I'm Loraine, your success-driven, online English tutor!
I can help you obtain the speaking, reading, and writing skills needed to make your English polished and professional. I was born into a military family and was taught early the benefits of consistent, positive learning habits. I also come from a creative arts background and have learned how to balance hard work with creativity and fun.
I strive to make learning a positive, individualized experience and use my military and creative arts background to make each session a successful learning adventure.
I have also taught in a variety of settings (public school, private school, homeschool, online) and with different age groups and personalities. I understand that not everyone has the same learning style and can easily adjust the lesson accordingly.
