About Zia

I am a qualified and dedicated English Teacher with a B.A. in English and a B.Ed., along with school teaching and extensive private tutoring experience.

Teaching has been an important part of my journey for many years. I have taught students of different ages and abilities and have also conducted my own tuition classes, helping learners improve academically while developing confidence in their abilities.

I believe every student can make progress when they receive the right guidance, encouragement and individual attention. I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning from them.

My aim is not only to help students achieve better results but also to develop their communication skills, confidence and genuine interest in learning. I am patient, approachable and committed to adapting my teaching style to suit each learner’s needs.

Whether a student needs help with schoolwork, wants to strengthen their English foundation, or simply wishes to become more confident in reading, writing and speaking, I strive to make every lesson productive, engaging and enjoyable.

I believe that effective tutoring should be engaging, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I first assess the student’s current level, strengths and areas for improvement, and then adapt my lessons accordingly.

My teaching approach combines clear explanations, guided practice, questioning, interactive activities and regular revision. For English lessons, I focus on developing strong grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, pronunciation and spoken communication. I encourage students to participate actively and ask questions so that they become more confident and independent learners.

I have extensive experience as a private tutor in India and have taught students of different age groups and ability levels. I have also conducted my own tuition classes, Eminence Coaching Classes, where I taught students from primary level onwards. For primary students, I can support English as well as other subjects.

A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, although the duration can be adjusted according to the student’s age, level and learning requirements.

My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary students, including learners who need additional support, revision, exam preparation or help building confidence in English.
