My Approach to Tutoring:
I believe in creating a student-centred learning environment, where each lesson is tailored to suit the individual needs and learning style of the student. I use a mix of interactive and traditional teaching techniques, including discussions, hands-on activities, writing exercises, and exam practice. My goal is to help students engage critically with texts, improve their analytical writing, and develop a deep understanding of English language and literature.

Active learning techniques like discussions, debates, and problem-solving to make lessons engaging

Typical Length of a Lesson:
A standard lesson is 60 minutes, which provides ample time for focused learning and practice. However, I am flexible and can adjust lesson duration depending on the student’s needs, whether that’s shorter booster sessions or longer, more in-depth study periods.
Qualifications and Experience:
I hold a degree in English Language and Literature and a PGCE in Secondary English, giving me a strong academic foundation and hands-on teaching experience. Having taught in secondary schools, I understand the curriculum, exam requirements, and the challenges students face. I’ve successfully tutored students of different levels, helping them improve their grades, build confidence, and excel in their exams.
