About Amna
Hi! I’m Amna, an experienced online tutor with a BS (Hons.) in Computer Science, along with IELTS and TEFL qualifications. I have been teaching since 2018 and have experience working with students from different backgrounds, including students from the United States.
I have taught English to school-age students and currently provide online tutoring focused on building strong academic skills. I believe learning English should be practical, comfortable, and engaging. I am patient with my students and encourage them to ask questions, practice, and learn from their mistakes.
My goal is to help each student become a more confident reader and writer while developing the skills they need for school, tests, and future academic success.

I provide personalized online English lessons for US students, focusing on reading, writing, proofreading, SAT preparation, and general test preparation. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, learning needs, and academic goals.
My approach is practical and supportive. I explain concepts clearly, work through examples step by step, and give students plenty of opportunities to practice. For reading, we focus on comprehension, vocabulary, identifying key ideas, and understanding different types of passages. For writing and proofreading, I help students improve grammar, sentence structure, clarity, organization, and overall accuracy.
For SAT and test preparation, I focus on understanding question types, developing effective strategies, practicing with questions, and learning from mistakes. I also provide regular feedback and adjust lessons based on the student’s progress.
My goal is to help students become stronger, more confident readers and writers while developing the skills they need to perform well academically.
