About Alexandra
Put simply, I love reading and I love writing. Communication is a crucial part of the human existence, and excellent and precise communication is one of the strongest skills you can set yourself up with to succeed. My English and Law background gives me technical training in both creative and formal styles, and affords a unique outlook on essay and thesis writing. I derive true pleasure from watching my students improve and thrive, and in helping them work to achieve their goals.

I am an experienced tutor who focuses on individualised guidance and custom lesson plans. Prior to starting work, I will need copies of your syllabus, assessment criteria, and three examples of your former work. My lessons mimic an Oxford tutorial, in which you will prepare a piece of work, receive feedback, and defend your ideas and writing one-on-one. While strict, I believe in positive reinforcement - and also offer tailored advice in working style and schedule, to ensure you feel able to manage your workload and progress at a steady pace.
