About Ian
As a highly compassionate, joyful and creative teacher, with one year teaching English in South Korea, one year teaching English in Thailand, 4 months teaching photography and computer in India and three years teaching in the United States, I am confident in my numerous abilities to be a superb tutor.
My students have passed their TOEFL exams, achieved high marks and demonstrated exceptional progress in their English.

One technique that I use to make my classes effective, is the utilization of stimulating learning activities.
Role playing scenarios, imaginative writing, interactive media and energetic games are tools that I use to activate my student’s learning potential.
I believe that when the mind is open to new possibilities, it is easier to grasp more difficult concepts. Moreover, I balance left brain language structure lessons with right brain exercises.
