About Precious

Hi! My name is Precious, and I’m a patient, friendly, and dedicated tutor who enjoys helping students learn with confidence.

I understand that every student learns differently, and sometimes a subject can feel difficult simply because it has not been explained in a way that makes sense to you. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and improve without feeling pressured.

I have an academic background that has required strong communication, reading, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and I bring these skills into my lessons. Whether you are working on improving your English or strengthening your Mathematics skills, I will take the time to understand where you need support and adapt our lessons accordingly.

I am especially passionate about making challenging topics feel less intimidating. I explain concepts clearly, use practical examples, and encourage students to participate rather than simply listen.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is patient, practical, and personalized. I believe students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind a concept rather than simply memorizing information. I therefore adjust my lessons to each student's level, learning style, and specific goals.

For mathematics, I break difficult topics into smaller, manageable steps and use clear explanations and practical examples. I encourage students to work through problems themselves while I guide them, correct mistakes, and explain different ways to approach a question. This helps students develop both their skills and confidence.

For English, I focus on building practical communication skills while strengthening grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing. I create opportunities for students to practice what they learn through conversations, questions, exercises, and real-life examples.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by an introduction to the day's topic. We then work through examples together before moving into guided practice. I finish the lesson by reviewing the key points and identifying what the student should continue practicing.

What sets me apart is my patience and my ability to explain things in a simple and understandable way. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because that is an important part of learning.

My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners, school-age students, and anyone who wants additional support with English or mathematics. I can also adapt lessons for students who need help with specific topics, homework, exam preparation, or building stronger foundations.
