About Anchal
With a solid background as a professional software engineer and developer, I bring more than textbook knowledge to every lesson. I have spent years working in the tech industry, applying the very math and programming concepts I now teach — which means my students don't just learn theory, they understand how it is used in the real world.
I specialize in working with middle school students, an age group I find particularly rewarding to teach. These are the years when a student's relationship with math and technology is shaped for life. My goal is to make sure that relationship is a confident and positive one.

My Approach
Hi, I'm Anchal, a professional software engineer and developer with a passion for making math and computer programming accessible to every middle school student — no matter their starting point.
I believe that the best learning happens when a student feels comfortable enough to ask "silly" questions. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and completely judgment-free. I meet each student where they are and build from there.
Teaching Method
I break down complex concepts into small, digestible steps, always connecting theory to real-world examples that actually make sense to a 12-year-old. Whether it's understanding fractions or writing their first line of code, I make sure the "why" is just as clear as the "how." I use a mix of visual explanations, live problem-solving, and hands-on exercises to keep lessons engaging and effective.
A Typical 45-Minute Lesson on Google Meet
First 5 minutes — Quick check-in: how did the week go? Any homework struggles or topics to revisit?
Next 10 minutes — Review of the previous lesson's concepts with a short warm-up exercise
Next 20 minutes — Introduction or deep dive into the new topic, with live examples and interactive problem-solving together
Last 10 minutes — Student attempts a problem independently while I guide if needed, followed by a summary and a small task for next time
What Sets Me Apart
As a working engineer, I don't just teach from a textbook — I bring real industry experience into every lesson. Students get to see how math powers algorithms, and how programming logic connects to the real world around them. That perspective is something no curriculum can teach, and it sparks genuine curiosity.
