About Rachel
I am a certified teacher with 14 years of classroom experience, a Master's degree in Education, and a gifted endorsement. I have taught students from kindergarten through ninth grade, and I specialize in math, science, and English language arts.
My gifted training means I know how to challenge advanced learners, while my years in the classroom have taught me how to support students who are struggling or have fallen behind. I believe every child can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement.
I am patient, organized, and dedicated to creating a positive, supportive learning environment. Parents can trust that I bring professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care to every session. I look forward to helping your child reach their full potential!

My lessons are tailored to each student's unique needs, learning style, and goals. As a certified teacher with a Master's in Education and a gifted endorsement, I work with students in grades K-9 in math, science, and English language arts.
Each session begins by identifying where your child is and where they want to be. From there, I build personalized lessons using engaging, hands-on activities, clear explanations, and plenty of practice. Whether your child needs help catching up, keeping up with homework, preparing for tests, or being challenged beyond grade level, I adapt my approach to fit them.
My goal is not only to improve grades but to build confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning. I keep parents informed of progress along the way.
