About Sumita
For over 15 years, I have had the privilege of working with young children, helping them discover the joy of learning while building confidence, curiosity, and independence. My journey has taken me from teaching in leading international schools to serving as an Early Years Team Leader and an IB Program Leader, where I have supported both students and educators.
I believe every child has unique strengths and learns best in a nurturing, engaging environment. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each learner's individual needs. Whether a child needs academic support, school readiness, or simply a boost in confidence, I strive to make every lesson meaningful and enjoyable.
For me, teaching is more than helping children achieve good results—it's about inspiring a lifelong love for learning and helping every child believe in their own potential.

Every child is unique, and I believe learning should inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love for discovery. With over 15 years of teaching experience, including more than 8 years in IB PYP schools and leadership experience as an Early Years Team Leader and IB Programme Leader, I create personalised lessons that meet each child where they are.
My classes are designed for children aged 3–7 and focus on literacy, numeracy, school readiness, inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, communication skills, and confidence building. I use stories, games, play, hands-on activities, and real-world connections to make learning engaging and meaningful.
Each session begins with understanding the child's strengths and learning goals, followed by interactive activities, guided practice, reflection, and regular feedback. I work closely with parents to support each child's growth, ensuring lessons are enjoyable, purposeful, and tailored to their individual needs. My goal is not only to help children succeed academically but also to nurture independent, happy, and confident learners.
