About Orla
Hello! I’m a qualified primary school teacher and a mom of three daughters aged 8, 6, and 4, which gives me a real understanding of how children learn best. I provide individualized tutoring for Years 1–6, specializing in literacy, mathematics, and NAPLAN preparation. My lessons are tailored to each child, combining hands-on activities, structured teaching, and positive encouragement to build confidence and skills. Each 60-minute session balances learning and fun, helping students feel motivated and proud of their progress. I create a calm, supportive environment where every child can thrive, whether they need extra support, enrichment, or NAPLAN preparation. Helping children grow in confidence and achieve their potential is my profession and my passion.

As a qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience, I offer engaging and individualised tutoring in literacy, mathematics, and NAPLAN preparation for students in Years 1–6.
My tutoring approach is student-centred and confidence-building. I believe every child learns best when lessons are tailored to their individual needs, learning style, and pace. I use a combination of explicit teaching, guided practice, and hands-on learning activities to help students master key skills and feel proud of their progress.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, allowing time for targeted instruction, supported practice, and review. For younger students, I incorporate movement, games, and visual supports to keep sessions engaging and positive.
I also provide regular feedback to parents and students, ensuring goals are clear and progress is tracked over time.
