About Carys
Hi, I’m Carys Gaylor — a professional actor and primary school music teacher who loves helping children discover their confidence through performance! After graduating from PPA Guildford with a Distinction in Acting for Stage and Screen, I worked professionally, including playing Chloe Fisher in Amazon Prime’s The Devil’s Hour. Over the past five years, I’ve helped many young performers achieve brilliant results in their LAMDA exams. My sessions are supportive, fun, and designed to help every student shine.

My lessons are creative, supportive, and designed to help each student grow in confidence and skill. I use a mix of professional acting techniques and imaginative play to help students connect with their pieces, develop strong vocal and physical expression, and perform authentically. Each session is tailored to the individual’s goals — whether that’s preparing for a LAMDA exam or simply building stage confidence. Lessons typically run 30–45 minutes, depending on age and level.
