About Dr James
With over 30 years leadership experience in the many different areas including government, non-profit, education, and the private sector, I have served as an assistant city manager, a circuit court administrator, a business consultant, and an assistant provost for a large university. I have recently retired as the Graduate and Online Dean for the University of the Potomac located in Washington DC. I have chaired and served on dissertation committees for two Major Universities.

I hold three degrees from three different schools, a BS in Administration from NC State, a masters in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida, and a PhD in Higher Education Leadership from Capella University. Many grad students see the thesis or dissertation as the most daunting part of their degree. It is manageable with dedication and the right support.
