About Shazia
I am a dedicated and experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching experience, with a strong interest in helping students develop both academic knowledge and personal confidence. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of different ages and abilities, learning how to make lessons clear, structured, and accessible to each individual student.
My experience as a Class Teacher and English Teacher at The City School, as well as my teaching and administrative experience at Saint Joseph’s Convent High School, Quetta, has helped me develop strong communication, classroom-management, and student-support skills. I have worked closely with students and understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting teaching methods according to their needs.
In Islamic Studies, I aim to help students understand their syllabus and Islamic teachings in a clear, thoughtful, and meaningful way, rather than relying entirely on memorisation. I encourage students to ask questions, understand the context behind topics, and connect their learning with the values and principles being taught.
I am a patient, approachable, and organised teacher, and I take pride in creating a respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and seeking clarification. Whether a student needs help understanding difficult concepts, preparing for examinations, revising their syllabus, or strengthening their overall knowledge of Islamic Studies, I am committed to supporting them throughout their learning journey.
My goal is to make every lesson purposeful, engaging, and suited to the student's individual level, while helping them develop confidence and a genuine understanding of what they study.

My Islamic Studies lessons are designed to help students develop a clear, meaningful, and well-rounded understanding of Islam, while also building confidence in their studies. I believe Islamic Studies should not be based only on memorising information; students should understand the meaning, background, and importance of what they are learning.
Lessons are adapted according to the student's age, level, syllabus, and individual learning needs. Depending on the student's requirements, we can cover topics such as the Qur’an and its teachings, Hadith and Sunnah, the life and character of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Islamic history, important events in early Islam, Islamic beliefs and practices, and moral and social teachings.
For school and examination students, I can provide structured explanations, revision, question practice, and guidance on presenting answers clearly and effectively. Difficult topics are broken down into simpler sections, with opportunities for students to ask questions and revise concepts until they are confident.
I aim to create a respectful, comfortable, and encouraging learning environment where students can freely discuss what they have learned and develop a deeper appreciation of Islamic teachings. Each lesson is planned with the student's progress in mind, so that learning remains both effective and engaging.
