About Geonyi
Tutoring is something I genuinely enjoy, especially when it comes to breaking down complex problems into clear and approachable steps. I’ve always loved helping others understand challenging concepts.
I previously served as a junior homework center leader during high school, and I currently tutor a wide range of students through Cluey Learning. Alongside this, I am a Part II Mechatronics Engineering student at the University of Auckland with strong foundations in mathematics, physics and problem-solving.
I occasionally support first-year engineering students by covering ENGGEN 121 (Engineering Mechanics) and ENGGEN 131 (Matlab and C Programming), helping them build confidence in core engineering skills.
My teaching strengths lie in Math, Calculus and Physics, and I’m passionate about guiding students toward clearer understanding and stronger academic results.

I teach NCEA Calculus, Physics and related subject. My lessons are typically 60 minutes and are structured around clear explanations, guided practice, and personalised feedback.
I provide tailored worksheets, step by step problem solving methods, and ongoing support between lessons. Having achieved Excellence Endorsements in both Maths and Physics, I understand the challenges students face and break down complex concepts into simple, manageable ideas.
My classes suit students from Year 9 to Year 13 who want to strengthen fundamentals, prepare for exams, or push for Excellence. I adapt my teaching style to each learner and aim to build confidence as well as strong academic results.
