About Hope
Hi! My name is Hope, and I am an incoming Speech-Language Pathology graduate student with a passion for working with children. I have over eight years of experience in childcare and early elementary education, including roles as a nanny and educator.
Helping children learn and grow has always been something I enjoy, and I love seeing students gain confidence as they develop new skills. My experience working with children of different ages and personalities has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and creating a positive learning environment.
As I continue my studies in speech-language pathology, I am excited to combine my knowledge of communication and language development with my experience supporting young learners. I look forward to helping students reach their academic goals while making learning an enjoyable experience.

Hello! My name is Hope, and I am an incoming Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology student with over eight years of experience working with children in childcare, nannying, and early elementary education settings.
My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive, engaging, and individualized learning environment where students feel confident taking risks, asking questions, and developing new skills. I believe every child learns differently, so I tailor lessons to each student's unique strengths, learning style, and academic goals.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previously learned concepts, followed by targeted instruction and hands-on activities designed to keep students engaged. Depending on the student's needs, lessons may focus on reading, phonics, reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing, homework support, study skills, or school readiness. I use interactive activities, games, and positive reinforcement to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
What sets me apart is my extensive experience working with young children and my graduate training in speech-language pathology. My background has given me a strong understanding of language development, literacy, communication, and child development, allowing me to support students in ways that build both academic skills and confidence.
My lessons are ideal for:
