About Tirza
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 9 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Industrial Chemistry. My work combines traditional chemistry knowledge with computational chemistry techniques. I help students understand how theoretical modelling predicts reaction pathways and molecular behaviour. Quantum chemistry is taught step by step. We study energy levels, orbitals, and molecular properties using clear explanations. Students also learn molecular dynamics simulations. They run practical projects using computational chemistry software. I guide them through calculations and data interpretation. Many of my learners are university students and researchers. They improve their research and analytical skills. Complex topics become understandable. My goal is to build both theory and application. Together you will grow into a confident and well-rounded chemist with strong computational abilities.

My Chemistry teaching is calm, thoughtful, and rooted in understanding rather than memorisation. I emphasise strong mathematical foundations so students feel confident in approaching complex topics. Chemical thermodynamics explains how energy transforms in reactions and systems. Statistical mechanics connects microscopic events to macroscopic observations. I also include reaction kinetics, spectroscopy, molecular modelling, and solid-state chemistry. Each concept is broken down into small, clear steps. Real-world examples make abstract ideas tangible. DIY biology thinking is encouraged to explore ideas practically. Science fiction imagery helps visualise unseen or abstract systems. Equations are tools, not barriers, helping students understand nature. I encourage pauses and reflection after each lesson. Questions are welcomed and discussed fully. I guide students in building their reasoning and problem-solving skills. Support is steady so confidence grows alongside knowledge. Independent thinking is nurtured. Each student is encouraged to find their personal learning style. My goal is deep understanding, not just quick answers. Students discover clarity and calm in complex chemistry. Lessons connect theory with imagination. By exploring chemistry at its core, learners gain both skill and inner balance. Students leave feeling capable and inspired.
