About Emily Nicole
My training and classroom experience within the British curriculum enable me to deliver structured, high-quality lessons that are purposeful, engaging and tailored to each child’s needs.
I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, preparation and communication. Each session is carefully planned with clear objectives, measurable progress and detailed feedback so both parents and pupils understand next steps. I have completed professional training in phonics, safeguarding and differentiation, ensuring that children are supported both academically and emotionally.
Parents can be confident that their child will receive patient, encouraging and expert guidance in a calm and supportive environment. My goal is not only to improve attainment in Math and English, but to build confidence, independence and a lasting love of learning.

my approach to tutoring is centred on building confidence, strong foundations and a genuine love of learning. I create a calm, supportive environment where children feel safe to take risks and challenge themselves. I believe that positive relationships are key to progress, and I tailor every session to meet the individual needs of the child.
My teaching methodology is structured and purposeful. Each lesson has a clear learning intention, explicit modelling, guided practice and independent application. I use targeted questioning, immediate feedback and retrieval practice to secure understanding and address misconceptions quickly. Differentiation is embedded throughout my teaching to ensure children are both supported and appropriately stretched.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and include a short recap, focused teaching input, guided tasks and independent practice, ending with review and next steps. I tutor primary-aged children (Year 1–Year 6) in Maths and English, including phonics, reading comprehension, writing development, number fluency and problem-solving.
Now in my second year of teaching, I bring strong classroom experience, alongside training in phonics, safeguarding and differentiation. My aim is not only to raise attainment but to help children grow in confidence, resilience and independence.
