About Adam J
I have taught in high school social studies classes for the last fifteen years in both private and public schools. I was awarded the James Madison Fellowship for the state of Nevada in 2011 and completed my master's degree in Political Science in 2014. I have experience in teaching multiple academic levels of U.S. History, American Government, World History, and Geography.

I like to provide a base of information through direct instruction, either lectures or readings. Then, have the students discuss the content on their own for meaning and understanding. Next, I plan one or more activities that are meant to reinforce the content taught in the direct instructions. These activities can be games, writing activities, or student-directed projects
