About Anjelica
As an art educator, I lead with professionalism, creativity, and care. I strive to create a classroom environment that is structured yet inspiring—where students feel safe to take risks, express themselves, and grow. Through thoughtful instruction, positive reinforcement, and exposure to a wide range of materials and techniques, I help students build confidence in both their artistic abilities and their personal voice. My goal is to inspire curiosity, encourage creative problem-solving, and empower every student to believe in their potential—both in the art room and beyond.

With over 10 years of experience in art education, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from Pre-K through 8th grade in a wide range of artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, and mixed media. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Marymount University, where I developed a strong foundation in both traditional techniques and contemporary art practices.
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve been passionate about creating a classroom environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and self-expression. I believe every student has a unique artistic voice, and my goal is to help them discover and develop it through hands-on learning, meaningful feedback, and exposure to a variety of styles and materials.
My approach balances technical skill-building with imaginative exploration, while also weaving in elements of art history and cultural context. Whether I’m introducing young learners to the magic of color or helping middle schoolers refine their artistic style, I strive to foster curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
I consider it a joy and a privilege to be a part of each student's creative journey and to witness their growth not only as artists but as confident, curious individuals.
