Alexis has mountains of experience with writing, both academic and creative, and she has been an invaluable part of my growth as a writer. She provided incredible developmental support for my masters thesis in 2017, first on a structural level and later on the line level as well. She was also an early reader and commenter on the draft of the book that would later be published from that work in 2019. She is the first person I’ve asked to look at nearly everything I’ve written and published since. She has a keen eye for the big picture, perfect for helping to refine ideas and structure longer pieces, but she isn’t afraid to get into the nitty-gritty on the details if that’s what you need. She asks great questions, guides gently but without fluff, and is willing to follow through and follow up on long-term projects. She’s also just a genuinely lovely person who loves to help and see others succeed. I honestly cannot recommend her enough!
