Jane has been a big part and major help to my acting career as one of my first teachers. She’s always encouraged me to keep trying and improving and that my talent was worth sharing. She is an amazing teacher and anyone who knows of her talents is a very lucky person.

I worked with Jane in a secondary school’s Drama Dept for 5 years and she is an excellent teacher and practitioner. Well organised, creative and passionate about her subject, Jane upholds very good relationships with her students and frequently helps them to gain excellent marks in public examinations and moderations. I am a teacher who has known Jane for 30 years and have seen myself what a huge impact her passion for drama can have on students. She has fantastic experience of both teaching drama and acting, which has made a huge impact on the personal success of many students. Our eldest son loved practical drama but found the GCSE writing component difficult until Jane was able to break down the tasks and really engage him in the work. In a short time Jane turned a somewhat reluctant writer into an A grade student, which had a very positive impact on other subject areas, particularly English. Jane taught me for A Level drama at school and she was one of my favourite teachers! She is so understanding and thorough when explaining things. Mrs. Harris is a truly inspirational teacher, who is passionate about the practical elements of theatre and extremely dedicated to every one of her students. Although at first, I did not realise my passion for Drama, Mrs. Harris inspired me to study it for A Level, and it is a choice I do not regret and as a result I am now going to study Drama at University. She teaches both the practical and theoretical aspects of Drama in such a precise and scintillating manner, that it is impossible not to be inspired.

Jane Harris was my Drama teacher throughout my senior school years at the Marist Senior School. Jane is passionate about drama, and she dedicates herself to the success of her students, combining both her academic and practical knowledge of the subject. I could never have obtained an A at A level theatre studies if it wasn't for Mrs Harris. She put in so much time and effort to help me. Jane taught me Drama from GCSE to A-Level. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. She is vivacious and passionate about alll aspects of Drama. I achieved A grades throughout, due to insightful teaching methods. She has a belief that everyone can succeed in Drama and makes it her mission to find this skill in all the students she works with..

Jane has the ability to get the best out of you. My written skills have improved, and my confidence has too. When marking work, Jane's feedback is very detailed and she offers some great ideas to expand on. I can always approach her with any queries or problems and she goes the extra mile to give as much help as possible. Jane's friendly and enthusiastic attitude is very motivating. I am so pleased that I am on my way to improving my grade and, hopefully getting into university.

Every drama lesson was extremely enjoyable; whether it was practical or written. Mrs Harris' teaching allowed me to understand the plays I was studying in great depth and she taught me to use this knowledge to write the best essays that I possibly could. In my opinion she is a fantastic teacher and without her help I would not have achieved the A grade that I did for my A level Theatre Studies

Jane Harris is perfect.She is completely lovely and makes one feel confident and relaxed during lessons. She has an excellent knowledge and understanding of drama and related topics. She is completely supportive and enthusiastic as a teacher. When it comes to coursework she will encourage, battle and support you through it, in a very methodical way ensuring she gets the best possible work out of you. If it wasn't for mrs harris' help and guidance particularly through the writing part of my drama GCSE, there is absolutely no way that I would have gained the grade that I did. She broke it down into chunks that made it alot easier to understand what the question was asking, and what the examiner wanted to see in the answer when marking it. It was really astounding to see how the grades of my practice essays went up over the period that we were preparing for the exam.

Mrs Harris taught me for three years and I gained confidence with performing and in my essay writing skills. In my GCSE I was able to achieve a higher grade than I thought I could. I had not written drama essays before Mrs Harris' lessons but now I am very confident. It also helped my English essays which I was struggling with. Mrs Harris' passion for drama inspired me to carry it on for A Level.
