About Tony
I am an experienced Agile Delivery Manager and former software engineer with over 12 years’ experience working in software and digital delivery.
I have supported teams across different organisations, helping them plan work, manage priorities, improve delivery, communicate with stakeholders and use Agile methods in a practical way. My work has included Scrum, Kanban, backlog management, delivery planning, team coordination, process improvement and delivery metrics.
Before moving into delivery management, I worked as a software engineer, which gives me a strong understanding of both the technical and human sides of projects. I hold a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Information Sciences.
I enjoy helping people understand project management and Agile beyond textbook definitions. Many students and early-career professionals find these topics confusing because the terminology can feel abstract. My aim is to make the concepts clearer, more practical and easier to apply, whether you are studying, preparing for an interview or trying to understand how projects work in real teams.
My style is calm, thoughtful and structured. I take the time to understand what you are struggling with, explain things clearly, and help you build confidence step by step.

My lessons are practical, clear and tailored to what you need. I teach project management, Agile, Scrum and Kanban by combining theory with real examples from software and digital delivery teams.
I usually start by understanding your goal: are you studying for an assignment, preparing for an interview, trying to understand Agile at work, or looking to move into a project management or Scrum Master role? From there, I structure the lesson around the concepts you need most, using simple explanations, diagrams, case examples and discussion.
I can help with topics such as project lifecycles, Agile vs Waterfall, Scrum roles and ceremonies, Kanban boards, backlog management, prioritisation, stakeholder communication, delivery planning, risk management, team coordination, delivery metrics and success criteria, and how projects actually work in real organisations.
My teaching style is calm, structured and practical. I do not just explain definitions; I help you understand how ideas connect and how to apply them. For example, we might look at how a team plans work, why projects get delayed, how to manage stakeholders, or how Agile methods are used in real software teams.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be useful for assignment support, interview preparation or deeper project work.
The lessons are suitable for university students, career changers, junior project coordinators, aspiring Scrum Masters, early-career professionals, or anyone who wants to understand project management and Agile in a practical, accessible way.
