About Jack
I'm a working-class actor and storyteller from the North West of England. I discovered acting through film and television, which eventually led me to train at Drama Centre London. There, I developed a fascination with all forms of storytelling, especially the intricate inner lives of characters—their desires, motivations, and contradictions. What do they want? Why do they want it? And what will they do to get it?
Over the past 15 years, I've worked across theatre, film, and television, with credits including performances at Shakespeare’s Globe, The Unicorn and The Coronet and with actors such as Toby Jones, Sam West and Juliet Stevenson. Alongside my acting career, I’ve taught screen and stage acting at institutions such as Rose Bruford, ArtsEd, Drama Centre and Stagebox, aswell as being on panels for audition's. I’m drawn to text-driven work and love collaborating to uncover the emotional and psychological depth of a role.

i’ve been an actor myself for years and have a personal and human approach to text and character. I love being able to get people looking at how we tell stories, what a characters ‘needs and wants’ are and how they go about getting it in the strongest possible way.
We can look at scene and context.
The emotional depth of character and what drives them.
Technical things like breath and voice.
Actions and actioning a text.
Playing with and redirecting scenes and speeches in prep for auditions.
Happy to look at technique in general or look at speeches and scenes if you’re working on something particular, whether that be for a role, or an audition.
