About Allie
I have a master's in Library Science and my undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education focused on reading. I have over 15 years' experience teaching reading and teaching other teachers how to support students of all ages struggling to learn to read. Teaching students to read is my passion and has been my sole focus professionally. I love to have fun and will make sure you enjoy it too!

I have worked over a decade with the newest readers and more recently, struggling readers. I use fun and engaging techniques to get students reading on grade-level quickly. My experience includes students of all ages and demographics. We learn through read alouds, explicit phonemic awareness and phonics instruction, vocabulary practice, and fluency drills.
