About Juni
I have taught hundreds of learners from varied sectors over the last dozen years. My background is in journalism which of course leads to greater written expression/comprehension in my classes although naturally through experience I can tailor the classes to your needs, be they conversational or another angle. A lot of my work has been with company employees that have been assigned projects/relocation to either Portugal or Brazil (also Angola and Mozambique). Other work has been with ex-pats or spouses preparing for life in a Portuguese-speaking country. Whether the purpose is cultural or academic, we can plan your route to a higher understanding of this fantastic language!

I have a very ample bank of resources built up through the years, both private and working with official Brazilian language-instruction entities. Every class dynamic and personality is different. Some prefer book-based learning, while others prefer greater flexibility to investigate different options. I have used multi-media such as videos and music in my classes in accordance with the student's necessities. I always try to link culture with comprehension because in the native world they cannot be separated. I will provide you with all material via e-mail prior to all classes.
