Traditional yoga (as practiced in India) is a spiritual discipline that includes ethics (yamas/niyamas), meditation, breathwork (pranayama), and physical postures (asanas). In the West, it's often reduced to just the physical exercise aspect, ignoring the broader purpose of self-realization or union with the divine.
