My approach to 'training is a classic push pull leg, which is the best in terms of muscle growth, keeping a monofrequency (neophytes who will have multifrequency cards with a different division of muscle groups and then move on to a PPL)then according to their goals you vary exercises and days, the duration depends on the level of the student but never exceed 2h.
This is a method that I have been testing on myself for 6 years with excellent results and 3 years I have been passing it on to my clients of all ages and levels
