About Finn
As a Singing tutor with 20 years of experience, I have guided many students toward achieving their musical goals. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals, helping them improve their vocal abilities while building confidence and musical understanding.
My teaching philosophy is centered on personalized instruction and positive reinforcement. I believe every student can succeed when lessons are adapted to their individual needs and learning style. My goal is to create an engaging environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow.
My lessons include vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, pitch training, rhythm practice, tone development, articulation, and performance preparation. I use practical exercises, song-based learning, and constructive feedback to help students strengthen their skills and gain confidence.
Along with Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Performance, and Music Appreciation. These additional subjects help students become more knowledgeable musicians and enhance their overall musical abilities. I also provide guidance on effective practice habits and vocal care.
I am committed to helping students achieve steady progress while enjoying the learning process. Through encouragement, structured learning, and dedication, I help learners become confident singers and lifelong music enthusiasts.

My Singing teaching methodology focuses on helping students develop confidence, creativity, and strong vocal skills through flexibility, understanding, and effective time management. I believe that confidence is one of the most important qualities a singer can develop, and my lessons are designed to nurture both ability and self-belief.
Every student has unique strengths and challenges. Therefore, I take time to assess each learner's abilities and goals before creating a customized learning plan. This personalized approach allows students to progress comfortably and successfully.
Creativity is incorporated into every lesson through interactive exercises, song interpretation, listening activities, and performance challenges. These methods make learning enjoyable while encouraging students to express themselves freely through music.
Students learn important singing techniques such as breathing control, pitch correction, vocal projection, rhythm, diction, tone production, and emotional expression. I emphasize practical application so students can confidently use their skills in real performances.
Understanding and encouragement are fundamental to my teaching style. I create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and exploring their voices without fear of judgment.
Time management helps me organize lessons effectively. Each session follows a structured format that includes warm-ups, skill development, song work, and progress review.
Besides Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Care, Performance Coaching, and Sight Singing. My aim is to help students become confident performers and lifelong music learners.
