I teach according to the student's needs/desires,
The pieces can be played by ear or with sheet music. That said, work on improvisation is still recommended (i.e., ear training).
The main objective is for the student to feel free on their instrument and enjoy playing.
For absolute beginners, I start with simple pieces and technical exercises.
The theoretical aspect (work on scales, harmony) is highly recommended but not obligatory (nothing is, in fact).
I listen to the student's choice of pieces, but also to their feelings in order to prevent injuries.
The lessons take place in a relaxed atmosphere and without pressure from me (unless, of course, you want the opposite).

David est un super prof : pédagogue, attentif et encourageant. Il propose de la théorie, des exercices techniques, mais aussi la possibilité de jouer des morceaux connus dès les débuts, adaptés aux goûts musicaux de l'apprenant, ce qui est très motivant! Bonne ambiance assurée, de l’écoute et une progression sans stress, l’heure passe trop vite! Et en plus, il est un bassiste talentueux, je recommande vivement.

Ses cours sont complets : autant d'exercices pratiques que de théorie, d'amélioration de votre posture ou encore d'apprentissage d'une musique, vous y trouverez votre bonheur en fonction de ce que vous préférez encore une fois.
