About Ria
I'm Ria and I'm currently studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol. My lifelong fascination with science and space has driven me to pursue excellence in my academic endeavors. I chose Engineering because it allows me to delve deeply into understanding the inner workings of machines and structures through mathematics and physics.
Despite the challenges that come with pursuing a degree in Engineering, I find joy in the complexity and rigor of the coursework. As a tutor with two years of experience, I strive to share my knowledge and techniques to help my students gain confidence and master their subjects, fostering their growth and understanding.
As someone who has prioritised education above everything, I have years of experience of dealing with stress during exam seasons and applying to top-rated universities. Through my own hard work, resilience, and countless revision strategies, I've tackled many exams under pressure with consistent top results. I look forward to helping students navigate their own academic journeys with the same determination and success.

To ace any exam, practice and confidence is key. That's why in my lessons, I focus on sharing effective exam techniques to help students tackle exam stress and approach assessments with confidence. The lessons will cover a range of past paper questions and practice exercises, tailored to each student's preferences. The lessons are typically 50-55 minutes long so we can covre both content and questions to maximise understanding.
The revision strategies I incorporate into our lessons have been researched, tested, and refined over the years, aiding me at being successful in exam preparation and performance. A former tutee myself, I find that boosting a student's confidence is crucial in being successful at their subjects. I believe condense notetaking, regular practice of active recall and application-level exam questions is best way to improve confidence and grades.
I structure my lessons by helping my students familiarise themselves with style of the exam questions and syllabus through past papers, so they are well-prepared for the exams. The methods above aided me in improving my revision style and I wish to share them with my students. Progress will be assessed through regular online interactive quizzes and bi-weekly homework questions to identify areas of strength and areas needing improvement.
