About Mara
I am an Excel instructor with 7 years of teaching experience and a B.Sc in Management Information Systems. My academic training combined technical understanding with business application, shaping how I teach Excel as a practical decision-making tool. Over the years, I have helped learners gain confidence and clarity in working with data. My teaching style emphasizes patience, relevance, and simplicity. I focus on explaining concepts in clear language and adapting lessons to each learner’s pace. I believe understanding purpose is key to long-term success, so I always connect features to real-life needs. Lessons are structured but flexible, allowing steady progress without pressure. Outside teaching, I continue working with data and reporting tools, which keeps my lessons grounded in real-world practice. Teaching Excel is rewarding because it removes frustration and builds confidence. Helping learners feel organized and capable with data is something I truly enjoy.

Excel becomes an effective tool when learners understand how structure, logic, and accuracy work together. My lessons focus on helping students build comfort with spreadsheets by learning how data is organized, calculated, and interpreted. I introduce Excel concepts gradually, starting with layout, basic formulas, and formatting before moving into deeper analysis.
